JESSE SMITH - OWNER, DECORATOR

As a little girl, Jesse Smith was always crafting something. Naturally, as a teenager, she got a job at a fabric store. Jesse loved learning from interior designers as they picked out fabrics for curtains, pillows, and bedding for their clients. She dreamed of one day having her own apartment, and her own clients to buy fabrics for.

As she got older, she surrounded herself with inspiration from books, design magazines, TV shows, and perfectly curated Pinterest boards.

After college, Jesse’s love for interior design only grew. She found herself diving into projects for friends and family, itching to turn her passion for design into more than a hobby.

Finally, after nearly a decade of work in advertising and traveling as a consultant (and just after completing her own home renovation with her husband Kevin), Jesse left her 9 to 5 job to start her own company. And so, A Crafted Home was born!

An Atlanta native and proud University of Georgia alumna (GO DAWGS!), Jesse draws inspiration from her Southern roots, incorporating fresh, modern takes on traditional design.

Jesse is passionate about designing spaces around the lives lived in them - striking an ideal balance of family-friendly function and everyday beauty. She enjoys the process of getting to know her clients and telling the story of their lives through thoughtful, meaningful decor.

She lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband, Kevin. Together, they enjoy mixing craft cocktails (at their home cocktail bar which Kevin built with his best friend!), hiking, camping, and sitting by the fire pit in their back yard.
